Business Cards

Often the first printed representation seen by a prospect or new customer is the business card you hand them. You must present all relevant information, while giving a visual representation of your company image. The quality and feel of the paper, font color and size, images and general layout all need tell your story in a small subtle way!

Classical Aisles business card required fonts and graphics that would convey a feel of Class and a style reminiscant of wedding invitations. Layout needed to be altered as the business needed only one card with both owners information included.

The dark image of the violin chosen for this business card required the fade to black and text in white & yellow.

PuterNerd's cards needed to give more information than the simple address, phone and e-mail. It was important to convey the various services available, so the back side of the card was utilized. The graphic was repeated in Black & White for added recognition.

Customer RML Norway Inc wanted new business cards to promote their new company branding through the use of the logo I created for them. They have always printed their cards on a high quality matte finish gray colored cardstock, and wanted to continue to use this same paper to keep the familiarity of the old and meld it with the new look and feel. In additon, they requested a listing of their services on the front of their cards to promote their full line of contracting services.

Owner Bob likes to write notes on the back of his cards, so I recommended we add some lines to give a professional look to the pencil notations. This allowed the service listing to be moved to the back, keeping the front for the pertinent contact information. The card to the right is the final layout chosen by this client to be sent to their usual printer.

As everyone likes a different look, I provide several alternative layouts and let the client choose their favorite.

Magnets & Magnetic Car Door Signs

Once you have established a look for your business card, you can expand recognition for your company by utilizing the same design in a business card sticker (identical to your business card, but with a peel-off back so you can stick it on catalogs and brochures), refridgerator/file cabinet magnets and magnetic car door signs!

  'PuterNerd Name Recognition Campaign
Since PuterNerd's business focuses on small business and residential computer repair - Greg felt it is imperative that he leave his name in prominent places at his customer sites. I designed refridgerator/file cabinet magnets to leave with each customer, and to use in direct mail campaigns to small business - easy to stick in an envelope with a brief business introductory letter, at areasonable cost.

Additionally, Greg places a small sticker on machines he repairs, so customers can find his name and number in an emergency. The "HELP" key symbol reminds customers who Greg is, even if they can't remember the company name!
Finally, the same look and feel is placed on large magnetic signs on Greg's cars. No monthly advertising fee, and you are always reminding neighbors of the work you do while constantly hitting new prospects as you are driving or when your car is parked someplace new.
