Since this is a small Computer Networking & repair business, I photographed some computer parts to incorporate into the background of the header and used some bright colors to make the company logo "pop"
|
For this business, the website is important to help "legitimize" it - with a strong residential base, it is important that prospects can see whom they are inviting into their home when choosing a business provider.

The first full site built from scratch was for Classical Aisles - violin duets for weddings and events. This site had an added need for Music files to be downloaded, to help it stand out from it's competition. |

NorwayBuilt.com - GoDaddy Template Website

RML Norway, a family owned full service construction company, chose GoDaddy to host their website, but needed someone to help them with the graphics, design and layout. GoDaddy provides templated sites through their "Website Tonight" software.
|
I designed a unique header for the site utilizing RML Norway photos, and recommended "Green" as the main color as they take today's many environmental concerns seriously. |

In talking with this client, we all envisioned a "Flash" Graphic (left) on the home page featuring the new company logo I created for them, as well as a photo library of completed projects (see right), and a seperate page showing construction "Before & After" photos. |

Bittner's Spray Equipment, a Chicagoland spray equipment distributor and full service shop started work on their website with the goal of putting their 2009 catalog online. Short on time to work on the project, they engaged my help. After an initial consultation to choose color scheme and an overall look and feel, I secured the catalog in Microsoft Excel format and began work on the site. BSEsprayit.com was already hosted on Intuit and needed to be built in Intuit's Design Software "Homestead SiteBuilder" which was easy enough to learn and work within.

For ease of customer use, "Anchors" were instituted at the top of each catalog page containing multiple manufacturer products. A customer or prospect can click the Logo of the manufacturer they wish to see and drop immediately to the table containing their product information.

All products are presented in easy to read tables, with consistant color coded fields, giving customers & prospects quick access to part numbers, product descriptions, list price, your price and when available, product photo. All photos can be can be enlarged when clicked on - see an example - click on the image to the right!

STRIKES! Baseball Academy contacted me to make some updates to their site. They had lost contact with the webmaster that built the site for them and could not get in touch with him. They enlisted my help to make some updates to their hours, change a few photos and make some general edits. In addition, I was asked if I had any recommendations to make their site "better". I recommended a static "graphic" navigation bar - appearing in the same place on all pages, and easy to find and use. I also created a new header, that did not take up as much room at the top of every page. Their company name was then made standard throughout in Red, Italacized, Caps Font for an added touch. |

PioneerPowderCoatings.com - No Template - Complete Website Development

Pioneer had a wonderful site built several years back, but when the company they hired went under, Pioneer found that they not only had no site live on the internet, but they no longer owned their domain name. Pioneer purchased a new domain so they would have control over renewals in the future, and when they contacted SER to help with the design concepts and coding, we immediately posted the general company information with an "under construction" sign. Custom Flash graphics on the home page help the site stand out above the competition. Click on the photo to the right to go to their site and see the paint drip!
